Dwight Howard made his decision, finally. A lot of Laker fans are mad, but he handled the end of his free agency well. He flew to L.A. just to tell Mitch Kupchak that he was going to sign with the Houston Rockets. I can definitely respect that. Howard also sent out a tweet, which you can see here:
"“I’ve decided to become a member of the Houston Rockets. I feel its the best place for me and I am excited about joining the Rockets and I’m looking forward to a great season. I want to thank the fans in Los Angeles and wish them the best.”"
Mike Bresnahan also had some tweets with quotes from Dwight Howard.
Howard excited to play 4 HOU coach: "No offense to Mike D’Antoni but we’re talking about Kevin McHale, who had a million moves in the post."

Howard said Kobe's challenging pitch at Lakers meeting did not affect him negatively: "Kobe did not factor into my decision whatsoever."

Dave McMenamin had a quote, as well.
Dwight on the misinformation today: "Because people wanted to come out and make it seem a different way, it had to kind of be rushed"

Alex Kennedy from HoopsWorld was able to talk to Howard on the phone shortly after he made his decision. You can find the conversation here.
