The Dwightmare is finally over, we think. Maybe.

The Dwight Howard saga is ending in the only way you’d expect: lots of confusion, lots of conflicting reports, and no one having a clue what is happening.

After original reports had him going to Houston, they were refuted by Alex Kennedy. The Dwightmare trailed off into the night before Alex Kennedy and the rest of the reporters made it official: Dwight’s a Rocket. While terms of the deal are uncertain, he met with Mitch Kupchak late Friday night to inform him that he was leaving.

We’ll keep you updated on the rest of the Lakers free agency, which is hopefully not nearly as crazy as this was.
