The Lakers finally entered the free agency frenzy Monday as they reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with center Chris Kaman.
As expected, the deal is a one-year deal to give the Lakers maximum flexibility for the infamous summer of 2014. Kaman will likely be the back-up center coming off the bench and spelling Gasol in stretches.
The Lakers gave Kaman the mini mid-level exception on Kaman, which equals out to $3 million.
