According to reports, Metta World Peace will no longer be a Laker via amnesty.
Sweet a guy as he is, @MettaWorldPeace will be waived via amnesty by Lakers to save about $30 million, barring some late change.

So what happens now, since the Lakers don’t have a small forward on the roster? Well, Kevin Ding had something to say about that as well.
Lakers will sign one for minimum salary or move Kobe to SF. “@CallMe___Kratos: @KevinDing so we have no SF now”

At times last season, Bryant played small forward, but with his injury, it will be interesting to see who else the Lakers bring in to be his backup, and to start (if he doesn’t come back right away). Stay tuned to see who the Lakers pick up.
