Two Lakers Celebrate Birthdays

Lake Show Life would like to wish Jodie Meeks, and the late Wilt Chamberlain happy birthday. Jodie Meeks is turning 26 today, while Wilt would have been 77. Although the two players have had different impacts on the franchise, they are both Lakers.

Jodie Meeks has a reputation as a good outside shooter, but under-performed in his first season with the Lakers. In the 78 games Meeks played in, he averaged 21.3 minutes, 7.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. Add in his field goal percentage of 38.7  percent and three point percentage of 35.7, and you have Jodie Meeks first season as a Laker. As for Wilt, you can go here to see his career.
