With training camp starting in starting next week, the Lakers added a couple more players to their training camp roster. Both Eric Boateng and Darius Johnson-Odom will fight it out among other Lakers signees for a spot on the team in the regular season.

Johnson-Odom was a Lakers second round draft pick in 2012 NBA Draft. He was on the team last year until early January, when he was waived. This year, he’ll get another chance to make the team once more. Johnson-Odom is a guard with lots of athleticism, but a lack of scoring ability.

Eric Boateng went undrafted in 2010 and has bounced between the Nuggets, Clippers, the D-League, and most recently Greece in 2011. Boateng is a 6’10 forward who has the size to matchup with NBA bigs.
