After a season of injuries like the Lakers had last year, the worst case scenario is always what comes to mind when the words “Lakers” and “injury” are mentioned together now-a-days. Unfortunately for Lakers fans, two different Lakers suffered injuries last night.
First, Wes Johnson injured his foot early in the game during the first half of action, which kept him out throughout the rest of the contest.
Wesley Johnson will likely get an MRI tomorrow to check on the strained left foot. Pretty standard.

Later in the night, Henry appeared to suffer a wrist injury in the second half on a drive to the basket. The third-year man was, however, able to play through the pain.
Xavier Henry has a moderately sprained right wrist. Moderate is the middle of the “mild/moderate/severe” categories. More on that tomorrow.

Henry’s wrist injury was apparently an old injury he’s had for the past couple weeks which he may have aggravated tonight. For Johnson, the status of his injury is uncertain and will be defined more thoroughly following the MRI tomorrow.
