Lakers waive Dan Gadzuric, Eric Boateng

Two of the final additions to the Lakers training camp roster are also two of the first causalities of training camp cuts. Big men Dan Gadzuric and Eric Boateng both were waived by the Lakers yesterday.
Neither big man were factors in the Lakers this preseason. Gadzuric saw 6 minutes of action and Boateng just 12 minutes, neither providing significant contributions. From the get-go, they were seen as nothing more than training camp bodies, players who could bang around a bit with the other players and spell the starters so they would not expend too much energy. Essentially, they were place-holders until those with higher probabilities to make the roster could get in shape.
The Lakers roster now stands at 17. The minimum amount players on a roster is 15, with 12 players dressing each game.
