Steve Nash has long been battling injuries in his short Lakers career, and another flared up on Sunday evening. After a lackluster first half, Nash stayed in the locker room for the second half due to back pain.
Steve Nash's back was bothering him, per Lakers PR. He won't return tonight and will see Dr. Robert Watkins, a back specialist, on Monday

Nash wasn’t too eager to discuss his injury post game, which could be a sign of the seriousness of it. Nevertheless, the oft-injured point guard is 39 years old, as we know, and is far from someone who can make positive contributions on a nightly basis anymore. What the Lakers and Nash decide at this point will be key in how the final two seasons of Nash’s contract play out.
