With the announcement of Steve Nash’s injury yesterday, the Lakers will be down to just two point guards for the next two weeks, minimum. And with Nash’s health always uncertain, the Lakers may be looking to add a new option.
According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, rival GMs expect to receive a call from Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak soon. It’s unclear who the Lakers may be willing to offer, but a with deep rotation of perimeter players, the Lakers certainly have the options to make a swap. And with Kobe Bryant due back in a couple weeks, someone will be the odd man out.
