Jordan Farmar leaves game with hamstring injury
By Jacob Rude
After playing just under a minute Sunday night, Jordan Farmar was forced out of the Lakers contest versus Portland with a hamstring injury.
Farmar was just getting rolling, averaging 16.7 points on 65.5% shooting on the Lakers mini-East Coast road trip last week. With him out and Steve Nash yet to fully return to practice, the Lakers are left with Steve Blake as the only point guard option on the roster. However, with a full week before the Lakers next game, Farmar’s injury doesn’t necessarily mean a point guard will be signed.
