It’s become the same old song and dance for the Lakers. After sitting out four weeks once already, Jordan Farmar has torn his hamstring again, forcing him out for the same timeframe.
INJURY UPDATE: An ultrasound showed that @JrFarmar has a tear in his left hamstring, which is expected to keep him out a minimum of 4 weeks.

Although the hamstring tear is in the same leg, this tear is in a different location than the tear that Farmar suffered on December 1.

Farmar’s injury, as stated, is in a different location from his previous injury. Nevertheless, when it rains, it pours for the Lakers, who can’t seem to keep players healthy. With Xavier Henry out, this will force Jodie Meeks and Nick Young into point guard roles.
With Farmar, Steve Nash, and Steve Blake all at least three weeks away from return, the Lakers could be forced to make another move to bring in a point guard, whether it be trade or free agency.
