In the words of Lee Corso, NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS. After ESPN710’s tweet, Twitter was abuzz with sources coming everywhere. However, not everyone returned the same answer.
Lakers vehemently deny Pau trade is done. Vehemently deny. Aren't budging from stance that they want asset for Gasol

Person w/knowledge of Lakers dealings strongly denying deal agreed on. Unclear what other assets they're pushing for, but certainly not done

Cavs would love to get deal done Sunday. But NOT there yet. Lakers still looking for extra asset + Pau-for-Bynum alone doesn't work cap-wise

For now, we sit back and wait. And hope this doesn’t turn into the Dwightmare 2.0

The long-rumored deal between the Lakers and Cavs involving Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol is done, according to sources.

The players involved are not known at this time. The Lakers will likely waive Bynum, saving over $20 million in luxury tax in the meantime. The Lakers were known to be asking for either a draft pick or young asset, but it is unclear which, if either, were involved.
