Clippers Sign ex-Laker Sasha Vujacic
By Conor Cahill
Sasha Vujacic, best known in LA for his superstar girlfriend, 3-point shooting, and long, luscious locks, is returning to the City of Angels on a 10-day contract with the Clippers. Vujacic was a part of the Lakers bench mob during their down years with Smush Parker and Kwaame Brown, and more importantly during the Finals runs from 2008-2010.
The Clippers are looking to bolster their roster while Chris Paul is out and find some talent that could be used as insurance during the playoffs. Vujacic is a career 37.1% 3-point shooter, but has not played in the NBA since 2011 with the New Jersey Nets. Here is the tweet breaking the news:
The depth of the Clippers roster just continues to grow. They recently signed international player, Hedo Turkoglu, who has proven to be a valuable veteran presence in the locker room. Sasha will likely not make it past a couple 10-day contracts, but it is good to see an ex-Laker trying to break into the NBA again. Vujacic joins Matt Barnes, Antawn Jamison, and Chris Paul as the ex-Lakers currently on the Clippers roster.
