Nick Young is out at least 2 weeks after an MRI today after going down with a knee injury in the 2nd quarter against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This comes only 1 day after Young joked about praying not to get injured. Mike Trudell, sideline reporter for the Lakers, dropped the news today:
MRI result: Nick Young suffered a non-displaced fracture of the patella and a bone bruise in his left knee. He's out a minimum of 2 weeks.

The Lakers’ season has been cursed by injuries and Nick young is just the latest Laker to forget to knock on wood. The Lakers will officially not have 1 player last the entire season this year. After getting Steve Blake, Steve Nash, and Jordan Farmar back from injuries, the Lakers lost Jodie Meeks and Jordan Hill, the only two Lakers to suit up for every game, before last night that is.
According to orthopedic surgeon Dr. Clapper of ESPN Radio, this injury is extremely painful. In a non-displaced fracture, a bruise would begin swelling underneath the bone. He does not believe Young will return before 4 weeks. This is a very similar injury to that of Xavier Henry, who has yet to return after almost 6 weeks.
The ease the strain of having a 4-man lineup, the Lakers signed F Shawne Williams to a 10-day contract from the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
Lakers will re-sign Sean Williams to replace Nick Young, who's out at least 2 weeks because of non-displaced knee fracture (and bone bruise)

Williams averaged 5.4 point and 4.5 rebounds in 20 minutes per game. He played 32 games for the Lakers before being released to open up space on the roster.
