UPDATE: It looks like the Lakers will be receiving Kent Bazemore and Marshon Brooks in return for Blake. Both have contracts expiring this summer, maintaining flexibility heading into free agency.

The Lakers were thought to be active sellers this trade deadline, and they’ve gotten that underway as of Wednesday night. With a plethora of point guards (when healthy), the Lakers had many expendable players at that position, and Steve Blake was the first to be dealt.

Blake was seen in the locker room prior to the game against the Houston Rockets saying his goodbyes to coaches and players before exiting in street clothes from the stadium.
Terms of the deal are not fully known yet, but will be published when made available.
