The Lakers were destroyed on the road by the Spurs’ relentless efficiency and crispness, 119-85 in San Antonio.

6 Spurs scored in double figures and its entire roster scored. The game was practically over after the first as San Antonio ripped off a 26-6 run to lead 29-12 with :03 seconds left in the period.

The Spurs continued where they left off in the second going on an early 20-11 run to push the score to 49-25 with 6 minutes remaining. The rout was on and the game essentially over.

The Lakers were more competitive in the third but still lost the quarter. For the game the Lakers shot 34 percent from the field and just 19 percent from 3, going 4-21. Pau Gasol had 18 points and Jodie Meeks had 15.

The Spurs shot 48 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3 with 13 makes. Danny Green led the way with 15 points.

The Lakers get a long rest before facing the Spurs again on Wednesday at Staples Center.
