Off the heels of gaining both Nick Young and Steve Nash on Friday night, the Lakers may be forced to go without another guard to end the season. Xavier Henry suffered an injury to his wrist during Friday’s contest. An MRI on Saturday revealed a torn ligament.

Henry seemed to be rounding into form, scoring 24 points against the Spurs and followed it with a 12 point game last night in just 23 minutes. However, Henry likely could be out for the remainder of the season with little more than a dozen games remaining in the season.

Henry, who was a breakout performer early in the year, has battled injuries in the latter half of the season. Still, Henry has become a fan favorite and is a likely candidate to return next year, assuming the right price is met. Still, we wish the best to Henry, as it’s always hard to see a young player like Henry go down.
