The 2014 draft is stacked with quality talent. Some of those draftees have made it evident that they love Los Angeles.
Joel Embiid showed his interest in living in Los Angeles.
I want to live in LA so bad #beautiful

Dante Exum is already working out in Los Angeles. His desire to become a Laker was announced over the past couple of months.
Dante Exum has been working out in L.A. and has attended Lakers games. He “may be angling” for them to draft him. http://t.co/3KCSV6x7y0

Unfortunately, it’s been fairly common knowledge that both players will be drafted in the top 5. The Lakers, with the blow out win over Utah, may have just played themselves out of that lottery position. It’s up to the lottery balls to swing in Laker favor for either player to have a chance to don a Laker uniform on draft day. The Lakers have known about Dante Exum for a long time now, and have inquired about him.
Australian phenom Dante Exum to be drafted by Lakers? Luc Longley tells @CanbTimesSport Lakers have already called him to get scoop on Exum.

While it’s still possible to acquire a tremendous player in the 6th, 7th, or 8th position in the draft, there were a few standout players in the top 5 that attracted the most attention. The season has been so rough for Laker fans, that there’s a faction wanting the Lakers to lose just to acquire a better pick.
Imagine the disappointment of some Laker fans, with the disappointment of the lottery draftees as well. This is the season where, even wins feel like losses.
