For most of his career, Kobe Bryant kept to himself, with stories often seen as dark mysteries. By joining Twitter, Bryant became less mysterious and more open. This fall, fans will get one of their first glimpses into Bryant’s everyday life as Showtime announced a documentary coming out titled Kobe Bryant’s Muse.

The film will be directed by ESPN 30 for 30 director Gotham Chopra. The documentary will showcase Bryant’s formation into the superstar figure he is now, including his upbringing and showing his mentorships. According to Ramona Shelbourne of ESPNLA, all the usual suspects will be appearing in the movie.

This will likely be the first time Shaq and Bryant directly tackle the subject of their break-up in the mid-2000s, which broke apart a likely dynasty after three titles. It will also be one of the first times we see others speak openly about Bryant, who will be nearing the end of his career by the point the documentary comes out.

Tell us below what you’re most excited to learn about Bryant in this documentary!
