Julius Randle Clarifies Things

Don’t know what this is about, but feel free to speculate.  Julius Randle has something to say.

Does Julius Randle need surgery?  Is his foot really fine?  Are people out there trying to hurt is draft stock?  Or, is he trying to hide the truth?

Whatever the case may be, social media spreads news real fast.  The problem with that is, if it’s false information, some people may still accept it as the truth.  Personally, I think he’s fine.  I think he may get that surgery after the workouts are done.  I think he’s worked too hard to throw it all away to get into the NBA draft.  He’s trying to protect his body of work throughout his lifetime, and it’s fair that Randle clarifies the truth through his words, not someone else’s.

This is a critical time in regards to the draft.  General Managers and NBA executives may be spreading hype about certain players, in the hopes of having the player they want, fall to their draft pick.  If you check out DraftExpress, you can see that Nik Stauskas and Noah Vonleh shot up the lottery mock draft, while Aaron Gordon, loved by FoxSportsWest media, dropped to #10.  They have Joel Embiid ranked #1 in the draft, while Andrew Wiggins slipped to #3.  Perhaps they know something we don’t.  Perhaps they feel more confident about Embiid’s health than we all do.  Even Marcus Smart is #4 and Noah Vonleh is #5.  While not much has been said about the results of the player workouts, perhaps, it’s getting obvious who is doing well and who isn’t.

Hopefully, when all is said and done, Julius Randle gets drafted in the lottery for the right team.  Hopefully, his hard work pays off.  Hopefully he has a great rookie season.  Hopefully, this is all forgotten in what may be considered a mishap through the media.
