Mitch Kupchak isn’t done with the 2014 draft.  Perhaps he sees something that we don’t see.
Lakers might not be done yet. They're trying furiously to buy a second-round pick.

Someone is likely to fall to the second round.  The Lakers have their draft list, and it’s clear they are high on a player expected to go past the first round.  Who could it be?  Is it Walter Tavares?  Is it Russ Smith?  Is in Thanasis Antetokoumpo?
The Lakers need value for money. Â Buying a second round pick for a two-year veteran minimum contract on a well liked prospect is worth it.
