Mitch Kupchak isn’t done with the 2014 draft. Perhaps he sees something that we don’t see.
Lakers might not be done yet. They're trying furiously to buy a second-round pick.

Someone is likely to fall to the second round. The Lakers have their draft list, and it’s clear they are high on a player expected to go past the first round. Who could it be? Is it Walter Tavares? Is it Russ Smith? Is in Thanasis Antetokoumpo?
The Lakers need value for money. Buying a second round pick for a two-year veteran minimum contract on a well liked prospect is worth it.
