Good morning Lakers nation!
Again, another slow news day, but we still are able to find some semi-related Lakers news. Former Laker and fan-favorite Shannon Brown has found his way onto another NBA roster, signing with the Miami Heat.

The deal is suspected to be a one-year, $1.3 million deal. The hyper-athletic guard was apart of two NBA titles for the Lakers and provided fans with dozens of highlights to remember him by. Since his time in L.A., Brown has bounced around from the Suns to the Spurs and then with the Knicks. He’ll likely look to fill in the minutes left by the departure of Ray Allen last season for Miami.
In other rival-based news, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers signed a five-year, $50 million extension to remain with the Clippers.

Rivers has been a thorn in Lakers fans’ sides for quite a while, having coached the Celtics from 2004-05 through 2012-13, then jumping ship to the Clippers ever since.
Rivers threatened to jump ship this summer during the Donal Sterling fiasco, but the NBA won it’s case to oust Sterling and Rivers, clearly, will now stay.
Let us know down below what your favorite Shannon Brown memory is. His dunk in the Finals? His almost dunk over Jason Richardson?
