This is what makes us proud to be Laker fans. We love seeing superstar talent. We love seeing hard-working guys. We can think, for the moment, that they work as hard, if not harder, than we do with our chosen profession. We only hope they don’t take it for granted. Jordan Clarkson, isn’t taking it for granted.
The Lakers are all about championships. They are also about hard work. Kobe Bryant is a player that encompasses both values. Jordan Clarkson is putting in the work.
Jordan Clarkson, like Julius Randle, is working hard in the gym. We’re one month out from the beginning of training camp. Usually, drafted players have rough rookie years. Think about it for a second. They play a full NCAA season while going to class. The finish the school year and hit the gym. They do their NBA workouts. They get drafted. They work the NBA pro league circuit for two weeks. They get over a month off, then training camp starts.
It’s a long season.
Jordan Clarkson is getting ready for it.
The vine video shows Jordan Clarkson on basic guard fundamentals. Spot-up perimeter shooting, shooting off-the-dribble, a floater in the paint, and a finish at the rim. Clarkson’s best ability is to break down defenders off-the-dribble. If he’s able to have a more polished jump shot, preferably with more arc, it’ll give defenders another degree of difficulty to worry about.
