Looking Back: 2000s Lakers All-Decade Team

In the beginning of a series of articles to come, we’ll look back at some of the greatest players in each decade, creating the All-Decade teams for each 10-year stretch. Players will be determined by the stats accumulated with the Lakers during those 10 years.

With the 2010s still yet halfway over, we’ll look back at the 2000s instead. And what a decade it was. Starting with a title in 2000 and ending with a title in 2010, there’s few decades in Lakers history, if any, that have the same amount of success.

We saw arguably the greatest coach in Lakers history with arguably the greatest one-two punch in Lakers history. And that was just the first four years. We saw two more titles in three more Finals appearances at the end of the decade. Let’s take a look at the All-Decade team for the decade.
