Looking Back: 1990s Lakers All-Decade Team

Continuing a series of articles to come, we’ll look back at some of the greatest players in each decade, creating the All-Decade teams for each 10-year stretch. Players will be determined by the stats accumulated with the Lakers during those 10 years.
The Lakers are one of the most successful franchises in the league, but the 1990s were not one of their happier decades. After the success of Showtime and prior to the Phil Jackson-led title teams, there was a decade of despair.
The biggest news for the Lakers in the 90s was Magic Johnson‘s announcement that he had HIV and was retiring. The next best moment of the 90s was centered around the summer of 1996, when the Lakers brought in both Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.
But did they make the All-Decade team despite their abbreviated appearances during the year?
