Byron Scott reveals Lakers starting line-up

The Lakers have a lot of uncertainty surrounding them this season. After a miserable season last year, the team turned over a new leaf by hiring former Showtimer Byron Scott to lead the purple and gold. With a roster built more for financial flexibility and less for winning, the Lakers are in a rebuild.

However, Scott did reveal the tentative line-up for the Lakers heading into the season….well at least most of it. In an interview with Mark Medina of the Daily News, Scott had this to say:

"Scott will spend training camp figuring out his starting lineup, which he says will currently feature Nash, Bryant, Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill. He is leaning toward starting Wesley Johnson at small forward because of his defensive potential and relying on Nick Young’s prolific scoring off the bench."

It’s no doubt this is an old lineup, but it will lend itself to some great players off the bench, with Jeremy Lin, Julius Randle, and Young all coming off the pine.

However, Lakers fans are (rightfully) weary of relying on Nash for much of anything considering last season, making this line-up a bit more uncertain.

What do you think, Lakers fans? Is this the lineup you’d use? Who would you start at small forward? Let us know down below!
