One thing that has lacked in Jordan Hill’s game is a consistent midrange jumper. All of the field goals for Jordan Hill in the video were within 5′. The year prior, he showed some consistency from midrange, but couldn’t contain it throughout the season.
He has been working on his jumpshot. There’s video footage of him during his interview with Mike Trudell where he wins a game with a 17′ jumper. While it’s not a true jumpshot, the follow-through is there.
@LakersNation revealed on twitter, just how much practice he has been putting in.
Another point of improvement is conditioning. Last season, Jordan Hill couldn’t maintain his great offensive play for more than two weeks. He put a lot of energy into the games last season, but had trouble maintaining it for longer portions of the season. He worked on conditioning as well.
