Can Anyone Stay Healthy? 3 Things From Lakers-Kings Game

1 of 3

1. Who do we have to sacrifice to avoid injuries?

Seriously, it’s almost not funny anymore. Ronnie Price left the game with a sore right and Wayne Ellington suffered a concussion after a nasty collision with Ben McElmore, which sent both players out of the game.

This is just a day after the big Steve Nash news. The Lakers starting five tonight only had one holdover from their starting five on the first preseason game (Wesley Johnson).

Sure, maybe we deserved some bad karma as a team two years ago for all the titles we won. But now, it feels like a curse. With Price and Ellington currently out and their status unknown for Tuesday’s game, they could join Steve Nash, Nick Young, Xavier Henry, and possibly Ryan Kelly on the injured list for tip-off on Tuesday.

Please, whatever you do basketball Gods, don’t take Julius Randle from us. That may finally break us.
