Kobe Bryant is a younger version of Kobe for Halloween.
… You know what I mean.
It comes as a surprise when he has been reluctant to attack the basket off the dribble. He has been settling for his mid-range and post game for the first two games. He had a running jump-stop for a layup against the Suns. A younger Bryant would have flushed the play with a dunk.
He still has it.
Oh, and he’s averaging 25 points per game through two games. Yes, he’s shooting 40.5% from the field, but at least he’s shooting 40% behind the arc.
Game by game, he’s only going to get better.
