The Los Angeles Lakers are bringing in a host of players over the coming downs for workouts, possibly looking to shake up a roster that has gone 2-9 to start this season.
First, the team will have Dwight Buycks and Gal Mekel come in today to workout head-to-head.
ESPN sources say Lakers bringing in Israeli PG Gal Mekel for audition this week. Which makes sense given how much Lakers need a shot-creator

This isn’t the first time the team has been linked with Buycks. Mekel, on the other hand, is a new name to be linked to the Lakers. Originally this season, Mekel was going to sign with the Indiana Pacers, but visa issues kept the two sides from getting the deal done.
After the two point guards come in today, forward Jordan Hamilton is expected to work out for the team tomorrow.

The Lakers have a huge hole at small forward with Wesley Johnson continuing his unimpressive run.Hamilton is a young prospect with a good three-point shot and could provide the Lakers some floor spacing that they desperately need.
Hamilton is not the first small forward linked to the team either, with Quincy Miller having reportedly already received a workout with the Lakers, which was scheduled sometime last week.

This also doesn’t include the workout of Tyrus Thomas, which we also reportedly recently. With the Lakers season slowly slipping away, it’s evident that Mitch Kupchak and company aren’t going to sit around for the winter months and watch the team tank.
Which of these players, if any, would you like to see the Lakers sign? Let us know in the comments below!
