Although the Lakers had a five point lead at halftime, it was slowly dwindled away by the Memphis Grizzlies.  Kobe Bryant looked to get his shot and added a couple of three-point shots, finishing with ten points in the quarter.  Lin didn’t maintain as much aggression in the first half.  It was as if Kobe and Lin traded halves for scoring. Once the Grizzlies took the lead, they never looked back. Â The Lakers made a quick, early run at the beginning of the fourth quarter sparked by Ronnie Price. Â That cut the lead down to two points. Â But, within the fourth quarter, both teams had serious field goal droughts. Â Both teams traded points. Â Nick Young was fouled on a three-point shot to cut the lead down to four late in the game, but poor offensive execution, a cheap foul by Jeremy Lin, no defensive stops, and a terrible, late offensive possession in the fourth, ultimately cost the Lakers the game.
