Game Grades: Lakers crumble late, fall to the Kings

MVP: Nick Young, who, for not the first time this season, was the Lakers’ x-factor coming off the bench. His signature jaw-dropping four-point play was the icing on top of a tasty offensive outing; a showcase that demonstrated both his energy and hustle when the rest of his team are feeling lethargic.

LVP: Let’s address the elephant in the room: despite his total, the Lakers’ least valuable player tonight was Kobe Bryant. His shot selection was woeful, his defensive efforts were especially lapse and he continually interrupted the flow of the team.

Stat of the Night: Shooting a disappointing 37.9% from the field, the Lakers were marginally more effective beyond the arc, making 38.5% from downtown.
