106. 20. Final. 109. 211

MVP:  I’ll name co-MVPs because I went back and forth on this so much. Both Jeremy Lin and Ed Davis finished with 20 points tonight, both huge nights from them. Davis added 8 rebounds and Lin added 5 assists and 3 steals.

LVP: Robert Sacre, who was one block away from recording a 10 trillion box score. If you don’t know what I mean, a “trillion” box score is when you have straight 0’s across the box score aside from minutes. It’s only a matter of time before Black takes Sacre’s minutes.

Stat of the Night: 16 fast break points, an abnormal amount for the Lakers. That was in part due to  Lin and Ronnie Price (and even some Nick Young) getting into passing lanes and creating fast break opportunities.

RONNIE PRICE. B-. <strong> 20 min, 1-4 FG, 0-2 3P, 0-0 FT, 2 PTS, 0 REB, 2 AST, 2 STL, 0 BLK, 1 TO</strong><p>Price was decent at times, but was forced to the bench for most the night thanks to Lin’s play.</p>. PG. Los Angeles Lakers

The Bench

<strong> 24 min, 5-10 FG, 1-3 3P, 3-4 FT, 14 PTS, 1 REB, 2 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, 0 TO</strong><p>Nick Young’s biggest contribution for the Lakers was his burst in the fourth that brought LA back into the game.</p>. SG. Los Angeles Lakers. NICK YOUNG. B+

A+. <strong> 28 min, 9-14 FG, 2-3 3PT, 0-0 FT, 20 PTS, 3 REB, 5 AST, 3 STL, 1 BLK, 1 TO</strong><p>Arguably Lin’s best game for the Lakers. He’s a completely different player if he makes his first handful of shots. Confidence is key for him. Has to be noted that his HUGE gaffe in the closing minute of the game by not fouling Mike Conley cost the Lakers precious seconds.</p>. PG. Los Angeles Lakers. JEREMY LIN

Los Angeles Lakers. WAYNE ELLINGTON. B-. <strong> 15 min, 3-5 FG, 0-1 3P, 1-1 FT, 7 PTS, 1 REB, 0 AST, 2 STL, 0 BLK, 0 TO</strong><p><strong><a href=. SG

F. <strong> 10 min, 0-0 FG, 0-0 FT, 0 PTS, 0 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 1 BLK, 0 TO</strong><p>It’s literally a matter of time before Sacre is relegated to the bench in favor of <strong><a href=. C. Los Angeles Lakers. ROBERT SACRE
