4.  Gail Goodrich

Goodrich was one of the first great lefty shooters in NBA history, along with John Havlicek.  Many people forget about Goodrich when it comes to the Lakers success in the late 60s and early 70s, but Goodrich averaged 25.9 points per game in the 1972 season.  Goodrich is the 8th leading scorer in Laker history, and was a five time all star.

Goodrich spent his first four seasons with the Lakers, then came back two years later in 1970.  Goodrich averaged 19.0 points per game as a Laker, and 4.2 assists.  Goodrich led the Lakers in scoring in four different seasons, and played a major role in the record setting 33 game winning streak.  Goodrich was the leading scorer in the 1972 NBA finals, with 25.6 points per game, as the Lakers beat the Knicks to win their first championship in LA.

Goodrich scored a career high 49 points against the Portland Trailblazers in 1973, which was his best statistical season of his career.  Goodrich averaged 25.3 points per game, and led the league in free throws made, and attempted.  Goodrich also made his only All NBA first team that season.
