7. Jeremy Lin
Of all players, Jeremy Lin has probably lived up to the hype the least. Laker fans were hoping to see the New York Knicks Jeremy Lin. Instead, we have seen the same Jeremy Lin that lost his starting spot in Houston. In his most recent game, Lin was benched. Nope, not one minute of play, and no he was not injured. Every player expect Lin, even Robert Sacre, made an appearance in the 14-point loss to San Antonio.

Lin’s stats aren’t all that bad. Lin is fifth on the team in scoring (10.5), second in assists (4.5), and third in steals (1.6). The most impressive stat of the year for Jeremy Lin is his 37.3% three point percentage. Just three games ago Lin posted a double-double in the loss against the Suns, his third of the season.
Lin’s main issue however is his defense. Clarkson and Price are both much more quick and athletic than Lin, and are more physical.
A lot of Jeremy Lin’s minutes are going to start going to Jordan Clarkson, and just like most of the Lakers roster, Lin will have to prove he is worthy of being a Laker next year.
