The Lakers can do themselves a favor by losing every game moving forward, but even a bad team like the Lakers are bound to win a game or two. The Celtics were in town on Sunday and even those who want the Lakers to lose were cheering for the purple and gold to beat their hated rivals.
Jeremy Lin led the way and the Lakers beat the Celtics in a thrilling overtime victory. After the game, the players were very excited and it showed when they were being interviewed after the game. Kobe Bryant was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Kimmel wanted to see how Kobe would react after seeing his teammates celebrate the win against the Celtics:
Knowing Bryant, we all knew the type of reaction he would have after seeing his teammates celebrate their 14th win of the season. He didn’t need to say a word, his face said it all. Bryant has become famous for his facial expressions and this was no different, he looked at Kimmel with a deadly stare and Kimmel could only laugh.
Kimmel knew what he was doing. One of the most competitive athletes in the history of sports was forced to watch a clip of a team celebrating after improving their record to 14-41, which by his standards is completely unacceptable.
