Top 10 Lakers Plays Of The 2014-15 season To Date
By Harry Burden
1. Kobe Bryant vs. Timberwolves – December 14th
The most exciting play on the list? No. The most remarkable? No. The most ‘what are you doing, Boozer?’ moment? No.
Watching Bryant drain a pair of free-throws has become as common of a sight for Lakers fans as the sun rising in the morning, but this trip to the line will be remembered throughout the ages. Zach LaVine‘s foul on Bryant gave him a chance to pass Michael Jordan and take his place at third on the all-time scorers list in suitable fashion – the place where he made his first point in the NBA.
In the aftermath, a timeout was called so that all could celebrate and embrace the moment. In the modern NBA, we’re all too keen to poke holes in greatness, mock superstars and undermine achievements, so it’s touching to see that, every once in a while, we all known a legend when we see one.
