Shaquille O’Neal: Top 5 Games With The Los Angeles Lakers

4 of 6

3. 2002 Western Conference Finals vs. Sacramento Kings (Game 6) – 41 points, 17 rebounds, 14-25 FG

The Lakers were going for the storied three-peat in 2002, but came up against arguably a better, more talented Sacramento Kings side. It took a great effort with the Lakers’ backs against the walls to survive the test. First, we had the memorable shot by Robert Horry to avoid LA falling into a 3-1 hole, knotting the series instead at 2-2.

After dropping game five, the Lakers had a do-or-die game six where the Big Diesel answered the bell. He asserted his will and dominance on the likes of Vlade Divac, Chris Webber, and Scot Pollard all night to the tune of 41 points and 17 rebounds, forcing a game seven and keeping the three-peat hopes alive.

Go ahead and leave your annoying Tim Donaghy jokes outside.
