The Lakers have been losing a lot this season and it’s difficult to remain optimistic after two seasons filled with injuries and disappointment.
Well, it’s almost over and our focus can now turn to improving this team through the draft and free agency. Kobe Bryant has one more left in his contract and he has already hinted that it might be his last.

- 2 Lakers who would benefit the most from a Kyrie Irving trade
- Victor Oladipo’s Russell Westbrook comments are terrible sign for Lakers
- 4 Free agent fits for the Lakers while they wait on Kyrie Irving
- 3 Most likely positions the Lakers will use for the last roster spot
We all hope the Lakers are able to surround Bryant with some decent talent, but after the last few years in free agency, it is not as simple as it used to be.
While Bryant’s accomplishments on the court will be remembered forever, his actions off the court are getting recognized. Kobe and his wife Vanessa will be honored with the Bill Sharman Humanitarian Award on April 4th.
The award is given out by the Toberman Neighborhood Center, which one of the oldest non profits in Los Angeles. Kobe and Vanessa have been involved in numerous charitable causes since arriving in Los Angeles.
They will join an impressive list of past winners, which include John Wooden, Magic Johnson and Vin Scully. If you would like to attend the ceremony, just go to: www.toberman.org/gala
