Game Grades: Lakers Can’t Hang With Mavs & Lose 120-106
By Alex Torres
Note: Since the Lakers have locked up the fourth worst record in the league, the tanking is over. So back to the regular game grades, where we encourage winning.
MVP: Once again Jordan Clarkson and Tarik Black battle it out for the game’s MVP and once again I have to go with Clarkson. He led the team in scoring and finished with six assists. Black had 19 boards, so he made it a very difficult decision.
LVP: Only eight players played against the Mavericks tonight and they didn’t lose this game because of one player. However, Dwight Buycks only scored 10 points in 24 minutes on the floor, which is why he is today’s LVP.
Stat of the Night: 7. Seven out of the eight players that played tonight ended up in double figures. Offensively, the Lakers had a decent game, but defensively they could not contain the Mavs.
