The NBA playoffs are ramping up. The Western Conference Semi-Finals started on Sunday and both series promise to be entertaining to watch. It is also nice to see former Laker Pau Gasol take on LeBron James and the Cavs in their Eastern Conference Semi-Final matchup.

Today, we get to see more great playoff basketball, but all the attention was on Stephen Curry. He was named the 2014-15 NBA Most Valuable Player and today he received the Maurice Podoloff Trophy in Oakland, California.
It was thought to be a close race between Curry and James Harden, but Curry ran away with the award. One particular Laker does not agree. Tarik Black tweeted his support for James Harden while Curry was giving his MVP speech:
Black joins teammate Kobe Bryant who also thought Harden deserved to be named MVP. It’s important to note that Black started the season with the Rockets, so he likely built a relationship with Harden in that short amount of time.
You cannot go wrong with Curry or Harden, both were deserving, but only one can be named MVP. Kobe deserved multiple MVPs, but only won one during his illustrious career. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if Black would have had a vote, he would have voted for Harden.
