Today, Kobe Bryant was somewhat active on Twitter and he responded to a few tweets. The Black Mamba has 6.6 million followers, so if Bryant responds to one of your tweets, you should be thrilled and that’s an understatement.
One particular individual asked Bryant how he deals with criticism and hate. Bryant’s response was very clear. Here’s his tweet from his official Twitter account:
It’s simple for Bryant, he just does not pay attention to the critics. If he worried about what other people said or thought, Bryant would go crazy. Bryant has done it his way and will continue to do so as long as he lives.
Bryant has been the shooting guard for the Lakers for close to two decades, so he is used to being under the limelight. Since making his decision to skip college and head straight to the NBA Bryant has had plenty of critics, but after so many years of experience, he has mastered the art of not caring.
Bryant didn’t win five championships because he paid attention to the media. You just have to let it slide off your shoulder and focus on the task at hand. If they keep criticizing you, then you must be doing something right.
