Ryan Kelly is a competitor, but he is not worried about basketball at the moment. The big man out of Duke is now a proud dad after his wife gave birth to Nile Jeremiah Kelly on May 13. The baby and mommy are doing great.
Kelly posted this photo on his official Instagram:
Kelly welcomes his first child at age 24 and for those of you that love and follow football, Kelly is now linked to former head coach Bill Cowher. Kelly married Cowher’s daughter, so Bill is now a grandfather.
Kelly probably wants his son to play basketball, but he has football in his blood as well. It will be interesting to see what path he takes. Regardless, he has two good mentors he can learn from and based on his father’s genes, size should not be a problem.
Congratulations Ryan and Lindsay. Let’s get that baby some purple and gold to rock each and every day.
