This season was a total disaster, except for Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson was the only reason most Laker fans still watched the games with any enthusiasm. Even when Clarkson was having a bad game, us Laker fans were still happy with the thought that we might have found a solid point guard for the future. As the 46th pick in the draft, he exceeded all expectations by showing off his elite athleticism and improving his once struggling jumper.

He was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, the first Laker to be selected in franchise history.
