Look, taking any workout as the lone source of scouting is ridiculous at best and downright dangerous at worst. (Cut to Yi Jianlian repeatedly dribbling circles around that infamous chair, only to stop, look at the camera and nod glumly in agreement). All that said, this brief clip, combined with Towns’ prodigious talent and collegiate production and it appears we might have a legitimate superstar on our hands.

What does this mean for the Lakers? Well, you have to think Towns tops Mitch Kupchak’s draft board and, fortunately, reportedly doesn’t top Flip Saunders’ – GM of the Minnesota Timberwolves. According to several reports, Saunders prefers Jahlil Okafor’s polished post game over Towns’ versatility.
Here’s hoping Saunders doesn’t see this tape and maintains that sentiment.
