Kobe Bryant News: Mamba Excited For Champions League Final

Today, one of the biggest soccer games of the year is being played in Berlin, Germany. The Champions League Final is the Super Bowl of club soccer teams and this year Barcelona and Juventus are the last two teams standing.

One particular Laker is very excited about this soccer match, the one and only Kobe Bryant. As many of you already know, Kobe developed a love for the sport of futbol when he was growing up it Italy as his father played professional basketball.
On a day that we don’t have the NBA Finals, the Champions League Final should be enough to quench our thirst for a championship game. Kobe is really pumped up and he went to social media to share his excitement. Here’s a tweet from Kobe’s official twitter account:

Kobe has publicly endorsed Barcelona as his favorite soccer club, so it’s very likely he will be rooting for the Spanish club. However, Juventus hails from Italy, where Kobe grew up, but that shouldn’t stop him from rooting for Leonel Messi and Neymar.
Barcelona is the favorite, but Juventus is a dark horse that has shocked the world so far. Even if you’re not a soccer fan like Bryant, this game should be very exciting. Other than the World Cup that happens every four years, it does not get better than this in the world of soccer.
