This is LeBron’s sixth trip to the NBA Finals, so he knows what it takes to win. He has put the team on his back in order to bring Cleveland their first major sports championship in a very long time.

Through the first three games, LeBron is averaging about 40 points, but has taken a total of 107 shots. Kobe Bryant knows a thing or two about shooting at a high rate and quickly made it clear that he approves of LeBron’s aggressiveness. He was asked on Twitter about LeBron taking “Kobe shots” and his response was epic, as always:

The NBA Finals is where legacies are made and LeBron has been criticized for being to passive in the past, but he does not have a lot of options this year. The Cavs need him to be aggressive offensively because everything is going through him. With all the attention on LeBron, it opens up his teammates and that’s how he gets them involved.

As Kobe said, you can’t bring a butter knife to a shootout. LeBron in this case is a bazooka that is obliterating everything in its path.

After the Kyrie Irving injury everybody expected the Cavs to fold, but they’ve shown that as long as they have LeBron, they will never be underdogs.
