Andrea Bargnani
People may forget that Bargnani was actually the #1 overall pick back in 2006 by Toronto. Like Porginzis, Bargnani is a great shooter who can score anywhere on the court. Both have great jump shots and have a high release point. On the flip side, Bargnani tends to settle a little too often, as he looks more comfortable facing up. He doesn’t like to grind it out in the post, and could tend to get a little cute by looking for the big finish instead a more effective one. Porzingis can easily finish with a better career than Bargnani if he adds physicality down low and grinds for rebounds, two things Bargnani has shied away from.
