Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report believes the Lakers will take Russell. Others believe the Lakers are putting the Russell rumors out there to get the Sixers to move up in the draft. Now, it seems like the Lakers might end up taking Okafor after all.
According to Mike Bresnehan of the LA Times, the Lakers are leaning towards taking the Duke big man:

What a shocker. Most assumed the Lakers would take Okafor with the second overall pick, but D’Angelo Russell has made a late surge. There’s reports coming out from various outlets and most of them are credible, so who do we believe?
Ding is saying one thing, Bresnahan is saying another, but one thing remains clear, we won’t know until about 4:35 who will be a part of the Lakers’ future. At this point, both prospects look promising, hopefully they make the right choice.
Laker fans seem to be split on the decision, so regardless of what happens, some people will not be happy.
